Description
An identity reset is what you need when a change has left you unsure who you are anymore. A career pivot. A relationship ending. A life stage shift. Whatever brought you here, you’re facing the same question: Who am I now?
You’re going through something major
You’ve lost your sense of direction. Your identity feels untethered. Everyone around you is asking what’s next, and you don’t know. Maybe you don’t even know who “you” are anymore.
You’re not broken. You’re in transition. And the in-between is a real place to be, not a wrong turn.
An identity reset — with guidance, not guesswork
Who Am I Now is a self-guided digital programme built for people in major life transitions. It draws on William Bridges’ transition model — the ending, the neutral zone, the new beginning — alongside guided audio and a companion that reflects your own words back to you. You work through seven gentle stages at your own pace.
By the end, you’ll have:
- A clearer sense of your authentic identity
- Clarity on what has changed — and what hasn’t
- Direction for who you’re becoming
- A personalised “Who I Am Now” profile, built from your own words, yours to keep
The seven stages of your identity reset
- You don’t have to have the answer yet — permission to be in the in-between
- The you before all this — looking back at who you were, to see clearly
- Let’s just name it — naming what actually changed
- You can feel two things at once — grief and relief, both allowed
- The thread that runs through you — what a change couldn’t touch
- Whose was it, really? — what’s genuinely yours, and what you took on
- So — who are you now? — an honest picture of today
What’s included in your identity reset
- The seven-stage guided programme — a private web app that opens in any browser, on any device
- Seven guided recordings, around 14 minutes in total — one for every stage, each with a written transcript
- The Who Am I Now journal, 13 pages — a fillable PDF with 17 fields to type into, plus print versions in A4 and US Letter
- A companion workbook (11 pages) and exercise sheets (8 pages) — to print and write by hand
- Your personalised “Who I Am Now” profile — generated from your own answers at the end
Why this is different
- Guided audio. A short, unhurried recording for every stage — for the days when writing feels like too much. A transcript is included for each.
- It responds to you. A companion notices the words you keep returning to and reflects them back — so it feels like being heard, not processed.
- Grounded, not generic. Built on well-respected thinking about change, held lightly — never a lecture.
- Private by design. Zero data collection. Zero tracking. Zero uploads. Your identity reset stays entirely yours — the writing is saved only on your own device, with no account and no login.
- Flexible formats. Work on screen, fill in the digital journal, or print the workbook. However suits you.
- Yours to keep. Come back to any stage whenever the ground shifts again.
Questions people ask
How long does the identity reset take?
Around 90–120 minutes of focused work in total. Most people do one stage per sitting, across a week or two. There’s no deadline and nothing to keep up with.
Will it tell me who I am?
No — and that’s the point. It works by asking, not telling. The answers are yours; the programme helps you reach them.
Is my writing private?
Completely. Everything is saved in your own browser, on your own device. Nothing is uploaded and no one else can see it. There’s an export button so you can keep a copy.
Do I need to be good at journalling?
Not at all. Every stage has a short audio you can simply listen to, and there are no right words — only honest ones.
What do I actually receive?
A single download containing the seven-stage programme, all seven recordings and their transcripts, the journal (fillable and printable), and the companion workbook and exercise sheets.
What if a file won’t open?
Write to me and I will send you a working copy, however long ago you bought it.
If you need to reach me
Write to connect@evolvewithin.co.uk with your order number and what you need — a download that didn’t arrive, a file that won’t open, a question about what’s inside the identity reset before you buy. I read every email myself and answer it myself. I’m one person rather than a rota, so I don’t promise a reply time, but nothing sits unanswered.
Where to go next
If you’d like something gentler to begin with, the Come Back to Yourself Cards are a smaller daily practice. You can also browse the full Evolve Within collection to find what fits the season you’re in.
A gentle note
This is a self-guided programme for personal reflection. It’s a companion, not a replacement for talking to someone. If a day ever feels like a lot on your own, please reach out to someone you trust — in the UK you can call Samaritans free, any time, on 116 123. This will still be here.
